About the role

Join a dedicated team of physicians enhancing patient care in the brand‑new Emergency Department at a 200‑bed hospital in Langley, BC. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to serve a rapidly growing community while working alongside a wide range of specialties and state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency medical assessment, treatment, and disposition for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including ICU, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and radiology.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and contribute to departmental quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Utilize hospital diagnostic equipment such as CT and MRI to support patient care decisions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Medical degree and eligibility for a full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Certification in Emergency Medicine (e.g., FRCPCCCFP, EMACLS, ATLS, PALSC).
• Experience working in a high‑volume emergency setting is preferred.
