Embedded Technician II – Security (YVR Airport)

About the role

As an Embedded Technician II – Security you will join Bosch Building Technologies’ Integrated Systems team at Vancouver International Airport. You will work on‑site to install, configure, and maintain electronic security solutions such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems, ensuring they meet client specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain CCTV, alarm, and access‑control equipment.
• Perform cable pulling, termination, and routing for security system installations.
• Provide on‑site training to customers and respond to technical inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning security hardware.
• Complete accurate installation paperwork and documentation.
• Lead site projects and supervise junior technicians when required.
• Maintain high safety standards and professional conduct at all times.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the integrated security industry.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) clearance.
