About the role
This position is a full‑time Long Term Occasional (LTO) role teaching elementary Grade 3/4 students within the York Region District School Board. The board seeks educators committed to student success and supportive of a collaborative public‑education environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach elementary Grade 3/4 students on a long‑term occasional basis.
Required profile
- Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (or in the process of becoming qualified) before the start date.
- Provide at least three professional teaching references (or two for internal candidates, one of which must be a YRDSB administrator).
- Pass a satisfactory police record check.
- Include all previous teaching experience in the application.

What we offer
- Salary determined by the current ETFO Elementary Teacher Collective Agreement, pro‑rated based on FTE, QECO rating and experience.
- Salary ranges: $57,269‑$102,938 (A1‑A2) or $63,855‑$120,384 (A3‑A4) per year.
