About the role

The District School Board Ontario North East is seeking a dedicated Elementary Itinerant Core French Teacher to join the Iroquois Falls Secondary School community. This full‑time, permanent position begins on August 31, 2026 and supports elementary students in developing core French language skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Core French curriculum to elementary students across designated schools.
• Plan, implement, and assess instructional activities that align with provincial standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in professional development.

Required profile

• Ontario College of Teachers accreditation (mandatory).
• Junior qualifications in teaching (required).
• French as a Second Language (FSL) qualifications (required).
• Special Education qualifications (preferred).
