Elementary Generalist Teacher (K‑6)

About the role

Rocky View Schools is seeking a full‑time Elementary Generalist to join Rainbow Creek Elementary School in Chestermere. The teacher will deliver the Alberta curriculum to students in grades K‑6, fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess instruction across all core subjects for K‑6 learners.
• Maintain classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to meet student needs.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and community events.

Required profile

• Possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• New or recent graduates may submit a final practicum report in lieu of a reference letter.
• External applicants must provide a recent professional reference on letterhead.
• Successful candidates must submit a current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of start date.
