Electronic Service Technician

About the role

Ram Electric & Instrumentation Ltd. is seeking an Electronic Service Technician to install, test, and maintain electronic equipment for its clients in Red Deer. The position involves hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and a client‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Install electronic equipment and assemblies according to specifications.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose circuit, component and equipment faults.
• Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies.
• Complete work orders, test reports and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare cost estimates for service jobs.
• Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• Manual dexterity with ability to bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; client‑focused and reliable.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Flexible schedule – early morning, morning or evening shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
