Electrical Service Technician – Remote (BC, Canada)

About the role

MineARC Systems is seeking a Remote Electrical Service Technician to join its service team in British Columbia. The role involves travelling to customer sites across Canada to deliver installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and training for our emergency refuge chambers and related safety technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities (minimum 140 days/year) for routine service, maintenance, commissioning and training.
• Test, diagnose and repair RGA units and other electrical equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety standards and document control.
• Enter customer product data and service needs into SAP for sales follow‑up.
• Assist production with product fit‑out, spare‑part packaging and shipment.
• Promote additional MineARC products and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare trip completion reports, expense reports and regular financial updates for the Service Manager.
• Participate in weekly service meetings, training sessions and company events.

Required profile

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (≈140 days per year).
• Current certifications required to operate MineARC machinery and equipment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Availability to attend on‑site training and team activities as needed.
