Electrical Foreman

About the role

Spark Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead the planning, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across its projects. The role involves supervising electricians, apprentices and sub‑trades, ensuring work meets safety standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign, schedule and supervise electricians, apprentices and sub‑trades on construction, installation, maintenance and repair tasks.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, especially for hazardous or unusual assignments, and ensure availability of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Prepare estimates for time, material and labor costs; maintain job records and submit reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, provide recommendations on project proposals and enforce safety regulations.
• Recruit, train and mentor personnel in safe operation of equipment and tools.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of electrical trade practices, methods, equipment, materials and tools.
• Strong understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to interpret instructions, sketches, blueprints and electrical codes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with superiors, subordinates, vendors and clients.
• Motivated with a strong work ethic and effective written and verbal communication.
