About the role
The Kootenay-Columbia School District is seeking a temporary Education Assistant with driving responsibilities to support JL Crowe Secondary School. This position works 28.5 hours per week, from 8:43 am to 2:55 pm, for a ten‑month period starting immediately.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom assistance to teachers and students as needed.
- Transport students safely to and from school activities in accordance with district policies.
- Support the daily operations of the school environment.
- Maintain accurate records related to transportation and student assistance.
Required profile
- Meet the qualifications and job requirements outlined by the School District.
- Be eligible for employment under the collective agreement with Local 1285, CUPE.
- Commit to the assignment dates, with the possibility of early termination.

- Hourly rate of $30.60 (CAD).
