Early Childhood Educator Assistant (On-Call)

About the role

This on‑call position supports the Fulmer Family Children’s Centre on the Capilano University campus. Working closely with other educators and the Centre for Childhood Studies, you will help create a nurturing, inclusive, and enriching early learning environment for children from infancy to five years old.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily programs and operations of the Child Care Centre in compliance with British Columbia child‑care legislation and regulations.
• Provide a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere that aligns with the Centre’s Pedagogical Commitments.
• Guide children through activities, responding attentively to their emotional and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with the Manager of the Children’s Centre and the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Development.
