About the role
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team in Surrey, BC. The role involves installing and finishing drywall on both commercial and residential projects, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Apply joint compound with trowel and broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks.
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs/joists.
- Secure sheets, smooth excess compound and allow it to dry.
- Use a taping machine to embed tape in joint compound and finish seams.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1–2 years of drywall installation experience.
- Ability to work on commercial and residential sites in various locations.
Required skills
- Metal corner bead installation.
- Joint compound application using trowel and broad knife.
- Drywall measurement, cutting and fitting.
- Taping machine operation for joint finishing.
