About the role
We are seeking a drywall installer to work on commercial and residential projects across various locations in Surrey, BC. The role involves reading blueprints, preparing surfaces, and installing drywall sheets to meet project specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs.
- Apply successive coats of joint compound, sand seams, and tape joints using a taping machine.
- Cut and install metal corner beads, fill nail indentations, holes and cracks.
- Clean and prepare surfaces before installation.
Required profile
- Flexibility and reliability in shifting work schedules.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Physical capability to bend, crouch, kneel and handle heavy loads.
