District Operations Manager

About the role

Indie Campers is seeking a District Operations Manager to oversee a cluster of depots, ensuring high service standards, fleet performance, and consistent execution of SOPs. You will coach Depot Leaders, drive operational excellence, and travel frequently to support teams on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach Depot Leaders across multiple locations.
• Drive operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure SOP compliance and service consistency.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvement actions.
• Oversee P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
• Collaborate closely with Central Ops, Finance, and HR.
• Travel up to 45% of the time to support depot teams.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of hands‑on operational experience in rent‑a‑car, logistics, retail or hospitality.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing multiple locations or high‑volume depots.
• Proven ability to manage depot financials, budgeting and supplier relationships.
• Strong communication skills in English (and local language if applicable).
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to drive campervans.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
