Dishwasher – SixtyEight, Ivey

About the role

SixtyEight, a venue on the 68th floor of 40 King West in Toronto, is looking for a dishwasher for its Ivey location. Working under the direction of the Back of House Management Team, the dishwasher cleans and puts away dishes, glassware, utensils and pots while keeping the dish area and machines clean and organized. This is a part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers efficiently
• Wash and polish glassware and flatware
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks
• Assist in receiving and stocking supplies and products
• Handle and store cleaning products safely
• Maintain the general dish area: sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar environment is an asset
• Attention to detail
• Able to take direction and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, with organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Able to stand 100% of the time
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
