Dishwasher – Hotel & Conference Centre

About the role

We are looking for a reliable dishwasher to join our hotel restaurant team in Thunder Bay. The role involves cleaning, sanitising and handling kitchen equipment and supplies to support smooth food service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Manually wash and sanitise pots, pans, trays and other kitchen items.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, and replenish condiments.
• Load and unload buspans, trays and storage areas.
• Portion, wrap and prepare simple food items.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars and other storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, appliances and equipment.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in appropriate storage locations.
• Remove kitchen garbage, sweep, mop and polish floors.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Client‑focused, reliable, team player with the ability to multitask, take initiative and maintain a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Dishwasher operation (commercial equipment).
• Food safety handling (Safe Food Handling certificate).
