Director, Supply Chain Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

About the role

This senior position leads the enterprise-wide Sales & Operations Planning function for a fast‑growing North American manufacturing organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Director will align customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory strategy, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and facilitate the monthly S&OP process across Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Finance and Customer Service.
• Drive planning excellence by improving forecast accuracy, plant utilization and service levels.
• Develop and implement a scalable, disciplined operating model for demand and supply planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to translate business goals into actionable supply chain plans.
• Leverage data analytics to monitor performance and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in S&OP, integrated business planning, demand or supply planning within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical capability and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to balance customer requirements with operational constraints and achieve stakeholder alignment.
• Experience in highly regulated production settings is a strong asset.
