Director, Strategic Analytics (Go-to-Market)

About the role

The Director, Strategic Analytics (Go-to-Market) leads analytics‑driven value articulation for Mastercard’s Experience & Disputes Go‑to‑Market organization. This hands‑on role translates complex data into consultative insights that accelerate product adoption, expansion, and renewals across sales and account‑management engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Combine multiple datasets (transaction, disputes, operational metrics, value quantification) to generate actionable customer insights and recommendations.
• Design and execute hypothesis‑driven analyses such as A/B testing, cohort analysis, and benchmarking to validate product performance and outcome improvements.
• Develop decision trees, causation vs. correlation analyses, and scenario models to support value narratives and commercial decision‑making.
• Leverage off‑the‑shelf analytics and value quantification tools to track key customer performance in partnership with Account Management.
• Define KPI benchmarks, performance thresholds, and early‑warning indicators to proactively identify risks or under‑performance.
• Craft clear analytical narratives that enable confident, consultative conversations with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in analytics within the payments ecosystem, especially authorization optimization, fraud mitigation, dispute and chargeback reduction, and operational risk management.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable, executive‑ready insights.
• Hands‑on individual contributor with strong commercial storytelling skills.
