Director of Procurement

About the role

Techo-Bloc is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead a strategic, cross‑border procurement function that supports 9 manufacturing facilities and 15 distribution centers across North America. This senior leadership position drives cost, quality, and supply security for raw materials, capital equipment, logistics, and resale accessories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that deliver cost savings while maintaining non‑negotiable quality standards.
• Manage supplier risk, create dual‑source options for critical items, and anticipate disruptions.
• Own senior‑level relationships with key vendors, negotiate contracts, and enforce performance metrics.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team across the US and Canada, fostering continuous improvement.
• Standardize procurement processes, systems, and standards across both countries to ensure operational discipline.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior procurement or supply‑chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Track record of delivering measurable cost reductions and value creation.
• Strong ability to assess supplier risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience building and scaling high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities at the executive level.
