Director, Data Platform Management

About the role

The Director, Data Platform Management leads the strategy, design and operation of EDC’s data platform ecosystem. Reporting to senior technology leadership, this role ensures data solutions support the organization’s 2030 business transformation and enable secure, reliable digital experiences for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the integrated technology target state and data model for the organization.
• Lead the development, deployment and ongoing governance of the enterprise data platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align data initiatives with the three‑year digital roadmap.
• Oversee data security, quality, and compliance across all platforms.
• Mentor and manage a team of data engineers, architects and analysts.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in data platform strategy and delivery.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, governance and cloud‑based data services.
• Demonstrated ability to drive large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
