Dietary Aide (Server) – Seniors Living Retirement

About the role

Sampson & Rutherford (S&R) Seniors Living is looking for a part-time Dietary Aide (Server) for its Seniors Living homes in Sarnia. The role creates a warm, welcoming culinary atmosphere with nutritious, comforting meals for residents, while helping maintain a home-like environment and supporting the team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet residents, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions courteously and professionally
• Connect with residents to ask about their day and upcoming events before sitting them down at their table
• Serve nutritious, comforting meals to residents
• Help set up and clear the dining room, and wash dishes
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area
• Assist with food preparation as assigned
• Support the team as needed and take part in recreation events such as a cupcake tasting competition or a summer barbecue

Required profile

• Food Handlers Certificate
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
