DevOps Specialist – Hybrid (Toronto)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Specialist to support a leading financial institution in Toronto. The role is hybrid and focuses on building resilient, high‑availability systems and optimizing CI/CD pipelines within an Azure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate active/active and blue/green high‑availability architectures.
• Optimize build and release pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions together with Git.
• Implement observability solutions with Dynatrace or Datadog.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Automate Angular and Java workflows and accelerate AI‑driven development within CI/CD pipelines (plus).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years of development or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of dedicated DevOps experience.
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment patterns (blue/green, active/active).
• Strong communication, self‑motivation, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Prior experience in banking or fintech is preferred.
