DevOps Engineer – Azure CI/CD & Cloud Automation

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team in Toronto. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure deployments across hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure using Azure DevOps.
• Manage end‑to‑end build, release, and deployment automation.
• Execute and support VMC2 (VMware Cloud) deployments in hybrid cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code with ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to streamline release cycles.
• Implement containerization solutions using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and deployment health.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance across all pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize deployment performance.
• Use PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting for automation and tooling.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines on Azure.
• Hands‑on knowledge of hybrid cloud deployments, especially VMware Cloud (VMC2).
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve release processes.
