About the role

We are looking for a visionary and highly technical Senior Developer to design, implement, evolve, and maintain the data engine that powers our next‑generation frontier AI models. In this high‑impact position you will bridge cutting‑edge AI research with high‑performance engineering, treating the data platform as an internal product for our researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a hierarchical, multi‑tier storage architecture with ultra‑low latency.
• Scale and automate data‑processing infrastructure to handle petabyte‑scale workloads.
• Ensure efficient use of compute resources, including GPU access for intensive data tasks.
• Assist the Infrastructure team in provisioning compute and storage environments for scaling.
• Version, reproduce, and fully trace all datasets and intermediate results, providing datasheets in line with internal data‑governance policies.
• Collaborate with research and other teams to understand self‑service data exploration, sampling, and analysis needs, and develop appropriate tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing web‑scale storage, high‑performance computing (HPC) networks, or large‑scale distributed ML data environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and document best practices.
