Desktop Support Engineer – Windows OS

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer specialized in Windows operating systems to provide onsite assistance to end‑users at client locations in Montreal. You will be responsible for handling tickets, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, notebooks, and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, replace parts, and perform system upgrades.
• Deploy new equipment and resolve tickets within defined service levels.
• Identify potential issues that could affect end‑user experience and take corrective action.
• Escalate complex cases and act as a point of reference for less experienced team members.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant desktop support experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education preferred.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel, including possible overnight trips.
• Bilingual (English/French) is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent desktop support skill set.
