Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative Designer to join our COI team in Calgary. The role blends artistic vision, technical engineering, and computer‑aided design to turn client concepts into sustainable, inspiring spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients from initial meeting through final walkthrough, delivering innovative experiences.
• Create inspiring commercial interiors that exceed stakeholder expectations.
• Interpret site scope, maintain up‑to‑date project details, and ensure design accuracy.
• Develop designs using ICE® software, building DIRTT spaces from scratch or existing AutoCAD™ plans.
• Convert 2D drawings into 3D renderings and virtual‑reality walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and fellow designers.
• Review production information and drawings for precision.
• Organize and submit orders in coordination with the project manager.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary diploma or associate degree in interior design, architectural technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications as required by project demands.
• Experience working in an architectural or interior design firm.
• Proven track record designing commercial spaces.
• Strong knowledge of current interior design and architectural practices.
• Ability to read construction documents and specifications.
• Passion for creating exceptional, awe‑inspiring environments.
