About the role
The Delivery Drivers Supervisor will lead a team of delivery operators, ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods while maintaining high productivity standards. This on‑site role involves coordinating daily routes, monitoring performance, and supporting staff development.
Key responsibilities
- Recommend measures to improve work methods and product quality.
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to drivers.
- Supervise workers and projects, overseeing 5‑15 team members.
- Train staff or arrange for training to enhance skills.
- Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels.
- Coordinate and schedule delivery activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Recommend personnel actions and manage staffing needs.
- Coordinate repairs, rentals, and equipment maintenance.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1‑2 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Bondable security clearance.
- Flexibility, strong organization, and teamwork orientation.
