Database & Enterprise Systems Specialist

About the role

Innovasea, an aquatic solutions company focused on sustainable fish farming and fish tracking, is hiring a Database & Enterprise Systems Specialist in Bedford, NS. The specialist operates, designs, develops and integrates the company's internal data systems, enterprise applications and corporate reporting platforms, keeping data accurate, maintainable, secure and useful for business decisions. The role also supports the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain corporate, financial and operational reports for Finance, Operations, Sales, Production and leadership, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Maintain internal reporting and application platforms, refactor legacy code and data access patterns, and improve access control and lifecycle management.
• Integrate ERP (SYSPRO), CRM (Salesforce), planning (Workday Adaptive Planning) and reporting systems, with validation at integration boundaries.
• Design, optimize and maintain relational databases on Azure SQL Server, including schema design, indexing and query tuning.
• Troubleshoot system, application and reporting issues, maintain technical documentation and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• 3+ years of related experience in an IT service and support environment.
• University degree or college diploma in databases and computer programming.
• Nice to have: Azure database services (Azure VMs, Azure SQL Database) and Salesforce Flow experience.
• Background check required.
