Data Entry Specialist – Supply Chain (6‑month contract)

About the role
Insight Global is seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a retail client’s Intermodal Transportation team in Calgary. This 6‑month contract role operates on a rotating schedule of four consecutive night shifts followed by four days off, providing essential logistics support in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and consolidate supply‑chain data for weekly reporting.
- Track delivery information, collect proof‑of‑delivery (POD) documents, and update status reports.
- Act as the primary liaison with carriers via phone, ensuring accurate communication.
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets to reflect current logistics data.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of data‑entry and data‑consolidation experience within the supply‑chain or logistics sector.
- Strong multitasking and problem‑solving abilities in a high‑volume environment.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, and reporting.
