About the role
We are seeking a Data Entry III to support a leading financial institution in Markham for a four‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves accurate processing of financial documents and ensuring data integrity within a fast‑paced banking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and approve source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports, and bills.
- Enter data into designated fields using keyboards or scanners.
- Identify and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.
- Audit data against source documents and maintain activity logs.
- Provide basic mentoring and constructive feedback to team members.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2‑3 years of data entry experience, preferably in a financial or banking setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and document client information accurately.
- Basic mentoring capability and a professional demeanor.
- CSC certification or equivalent professional background.
