About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Entry Assistant to join a busy operations team supporting a financial services client. The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days onsite in Montreal, Toronto or Halifax, with the possibility of increased onsite presence based on business needs. This 6‑month contract offers the chance to work independently while contributing to critical data‑driven processes.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and validate data from source documents into internal systems.
- Review records for completeness and accuracy before processing.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies and input errors.
- Maintain logs and documentation of completed work.
- Meet productivity targets and established deadlines.
- Support overall team objectives while working independently.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of data entry, administrative or operations experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data entry software and scanning systems.
- Fast, accurate typing.
