Data Coordinator

About the role

The Data Coordinator supports daily data operations that enable analytics and reporting across Brother Canada. You will execute recurring data processes, perform basic data quality checks, and ensure timely delivery of accurate data outputs. The role works closely with Analytics, Data Engineering, and other business units to maintain reliable data flow.

Key responsibilities

• Run and monitor recurring data processing tasks and pipelines following established procedures.
• Perform routine data checks to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify, document, and escalate data issues or discrepancies as they arise.
• Prepare and refresh datasets used for reporting and analytics.
• Maintain basic data documentation, definitions, and process steps.
• Support data requests by providing required information and inputs.
• Coordinate with Analytics and Data Engineering teams to resolve data‑related questions.
• Track execution status of data processes and report delays or risks.
• Assist with ad‑hoc data updates or corrections as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience working with data in an analytics, reporting, operations, or coordination role.
• Internship, co‑op, or entry‑level experience involving data handling is acceptable.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in SQL or willingness to learn SQL.
• Experience working with spreadsheets (Excel).
