Data Center Technician (L3) – Onsite in Calgary

About the role
Insight Global is looking for a Level‑3 Data Center Technician to join a client’s critical data‑center environment in Calgary. The role focuses on maintaining hardware reliability, performing installations, and supporting day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair servers and related hardware issues.
- Install, replace, and maintain IT equipment throughout the facility.
- Monitor systems, follow safety and security procedures, and document all work performed.
- Escalate unresolved problems and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- High school diploma with hands‑on experience in computers, servers, or IT hardware, or a trade‑school/technical certificate in IT, networking, electronics, etc.
- Physically able to lift 35 lb+ equipment and stand for most of the shift.
- Own composite‑toe, non‑metal protective footwear.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and trustworthy attitude.
