Data Analyst, People Analytics

About the role

Lyft’s People Analytics team is transforming how HR data is accessed and used. As a Data Analyst based in Toronto, you will be the first point of contact for data requests across the People organization, helping to shape the future of AI‑powered analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging, scoping and delivering analytical requests ranging from ad‑hoc pulls to full ThoughtSpot dashboards.
• Designing, building and maintaining ThoughtSpot dashboards and liveboards for recruiters, HR business partners, managers and executives.
• Exploring and operationalising ThoughtSpot AI features such as Spotter and AI Highlights to surface proactive insights.
• Creating and managing survey programs in Qualtrics, from design to distribution and results analysis.
• Partnering with Talent and People leads to define key metrics and translate data into actionable stories.
• Communicating findings clearly to both technical audiences and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Self‑starter comfortable writing SQL and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering data solutions in a fast‑moving, high‑impact environment.
• Strong ability to bridge technical and non‑technical discussions.
• Interest in shaping AI‑driven people analytics.
