Customer Service Representative

About the role

St. John Council for Ontario (SJCO) is a voluntary agency dedicated to improving the health, safety and quality of life of Canadians through training and community service. We are seeking a confident, energetic Customer Service Representative to join our Kingston location.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products, services, and order status.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
• Maintain customer records by updating account information and documenting interactions.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Reconcile payment information appropriately and maintain accurate records in Microsoft 365 database.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of office administration or customer service experience.
• Strong phone handling and active listening skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software applications, specifically Microsoft Office D365.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
