Customer Service Representative & Dispatcher

About the role

The Customer Service Representative & Dispatcher acts as the primary liaison between Flynn's strategic clients and internal service departments across Canada and the US. You will ensure client inquiries are addressed promptly, provide accurate invoicing, and help resolve any operational issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of client requests received via phone, email, and online portals.
• Respond to inquiries within agreed timeframes and keep clients informed.
• Coordinate with service teams in Canada and the US to address client needs.
• Identify and diagnose operational problems using ethical procedures and professional judgment.
• Handle complaints, propose solutions, and follow up to confirm resolution.
• Escalate unresolved issues to designated resources as required.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, inquiries, and complaints.
• Provide accurate invoicing, detect discrepancies between contracts and invoices, and resolve them.

Required profile

• Prior experience in customer service or dispatching is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the construction or roofing industry is preferred.
• Post‑secondary education preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability for after‑hours and weekend work when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with database and reporting tools.
• Ability to navigate multiple customer portals for invoicing and service coordination.
• Strong computer literacy.
