About the role
We are seeking a skilled Custom Wood Furniture Maker to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs in Delta, BC. The role involves crafting high-quality wooden furniture pieces from start to finish, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Trim joints and fit parts and sub‑assemblies together to form complete units.
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
- Apply varnish, laminated plastics, and other finishes.
- Estimate material costs and quantities for projects.
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in furniture making or related woodworking.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications.
- Physical capability to handle woodworking tasks safely.
