About the role
The Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer to teach GSFS 250 – Sexual and Gender Diversity Studies. The position runs from August 31 to December 4, 2026, with classes scheduled MWF 12:35 pm‑1:25 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions for a projected enrolment of 180 students.
- Prepare and optionally submit a brief course outline and teaching evaluations.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
Required profile
- Master’s degree required; PhD preferred.
- Prior university teaching experience.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
