About the role
The Department of Civil Engineering seeks a qualified Course Lecturer to teach CIVE 527 Renovation and Preservation: Infrastructure. This 3‑credit, 39‑hour course runs on Mondays from 2:35 pm to 5:25 pm and provides students with practical knowledge on preserving and upgrading civil infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and lead classroom discussions for the CIVE 527 course.
- Prepare, assign, and grade coursework, examinations, and project evaluations.
- Maintain office hours and provide academic guidance to enrolled students.
Required profile
- Minimum M.Eng. in Civil Engineering or B.Eng. with at least five years of practical civil engineering experience.
- Currently active civil engineering practitioner.
- Member in good standing of a Canadian professional engineering association.
