About the role
The Farm Management and Technology Program at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer to teach FMTP 082 Literary Genres during the Fall 2026 semester. The position involves delivering lectures, participating in final exam sessions, and grading assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver two weekly lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
- Be available on scheduled final exam days and grade final examinations.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and reading lists aligned with the Literary Genres curriculum.
- Maintain academic standards and provide constructive feedback to students.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in English or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior college‑level teaching experience with literary or English courses, with evidence of effective instruction.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
