Course Lecturer – Humanities 2: World Views

About the role
McGill University is seeking a qualified Course Lecturer to teach FMTP 086 Humanities 2: World Views during the Fall 2026 term. The lecturer will deliver weekly lectures, supervise final exams, and contribute to the academic experience of undergraduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a 3‑hour lecture each Tuesday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Prepare and grade final examinations in accordance with university policies.
- Maintain course materials, syllabi, and assessment criteria.
- Engage with students through office hours and provide academic guidance.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to the course subject matter.
- Prior college‑level teaching experience, preferably with World Views or similar humanities courses.
- Evidence of effective teaching and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
