About the role
The Farm Management and Technology Program at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer to teach FMTP 022 Equipment Management during the Fall 2026 term. The role involves delivering lectures, supervising laboratory sessions, and grading final examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a weekly lecture on Mondays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
- Conduct two laboratory sessions on Thursdays, 8:30 am‑10:30 am and 10:30 am‑12:30 pm.
- Prepare and grade final exams, and be available on the scheduled exam day.
- Provide guidance and feedback to students during lab activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum three years of recent professional or agricultural experience.
- Prior college‑level teaching experience in equipment management or a closely related subject, with evidence of effective instruction.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
