Course Lecturer – English Upgrading (FMTP 080)

About the role

The Farm Management and Technology Program seeks a Course Lecturer to teach FMTP 080 English Upgrading during the Fall 2026 term. The role involves delivering two weekly lectures, preparing course materials, and grading final examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
• Prepare and update teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Grade student work, including final exams, and be available on scheduled exam days.
• Maintain communication with students and provide academic support as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior college‑level teaching experience, preferably with English Upgrading courses.
• Evidence of effective teaching and curriculum development.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.

Required skills

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging instructional content.
• Experience assessing academic performance.
