Course Lecturer – Digital Representation (ARCH 342) – Fall 2026

About the role

The Peter Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer for the Fall 2026 term to teach ARCH 342 – Digital Representation. This fixed‑term appointment runs from August 31 to December 31, 2026, covering three credits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and laboratory sessions for ARCH 342, scheduled Tuesdays 08:35 am‑10:25 am in MDHAR 212.
• Prepare and update course materials, including tutorials on digital design software.
• Assess student work, assign grades, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a supportive learning environment and adhere to university policies.

Required profile

• M.Arch or equivalent first professional degree.
• Professional practice experience in architecture and/or post‑secondary teaching experience.
• Strong technical, digital, and theoretical expertise relevant to the course.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the Montreal campus.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
