About the role

The Department of Civil Engineering at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer to teach CIVE 418 Design Project-1. This part‑time teaching assignment involves delivering lectures, guiding student design work, and assessing performance for a 4‑credit, 39‑hour course.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and deliver weekly lectures for the Design Project course.
Supervise student project teams and provide technical guidance.
Evaluate assignments, projects, and final presentations.
Maintain course records and communicate grades to students.

Required profile

Minimum qualification: M.Eng. in Civil Engineering or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of practical experience.
Currently practicing civil engineer.
Member of a Canadian professional engineering association.

Course credits: 4
Total remuneration: $11,824.00 CAD
Schedule: Fridays, 2:35 pm – 4:25 pm
Location: RPHYS 115, Macdonald Engineering Building
