About the role
The Peter Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University seeks a Course Lecturer for ARCH 531 – Architectural Intentions Vitruvius – Renaissance for the Fall 2026 term. The appointment runs from August 31 to December 31, 2026, delivering a three‑credit course on Friday mornings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver weekly lectures and lead discussions on Renaissance architectural theory and Vitruvian principles.
- Prepare and grade assignments, exams, and project work in alignment with course objectives.
- Maintain office hours and provide academic guidance to undergraduate students.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure course content meets departmental standards.
Required profile
- Advanced academic degree (M.Arch. or equivalent) relevant to the course level.
- Demonstrated technical, critical, and theoretical expertise in architecture, particularly Renaissance studies.
- Prior post‑secondary teaching experience in architecture.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
