Courier – Package Pickup & Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and efficient Courier to handle the pickup and delivery of packages on an assigned route. The role involves ensuring shipments meet Federal Express Canada service standards and providing excellent customer service throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages on a designated route, starting at 7 am, Monday‑Saturday.
• Verify shipments for compliance with Federal Express Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer‑service functions and address client inquiries.
• Complete mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training and maintain required accreditations.
• Operate in a Windows PC environment for tracking and documentation.
• Work flexible schedules, including holidays, and adapt to varying shift demands.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record (≤2 violations/accidents in the past 24 months).
• Ability to lift 70 lb and maneuver packages up to 150 lb using appropriate equipment.
• One year of customer‑oriented business experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication, time‑management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work under pressure, multitask and handle stress.
• If residing in Quebec, bilingual in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Successful completion of driver assessment training.

What we offer

• Full‑time position with a starting shift at 7 am.
• Retention bonus of $2,000 payable in four installments.
• Hourly wage of $22.60 (CAD).
