Counter Salesperson

About the role

As a Counter Salesperson you will be the first point of contact for walk‑in customers at our Profit Centre counters. You will deliver high‑quality service while supporting both inside and outside sales teams in a fast‑paced wholesale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers purchasing material at the counter and answer product questions.
• Research product options and provide recommendations from our extensive assortment.
• Enter, pick, and pack sales orders generated at the counter.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked counter area and merchandising displays.
• Monitor stock levels and notify buyers when inventory is low.
• Promote products, drive counter merchandising, and generate leads for the Outside Account Manager.
• Support Inside Sales and Outside Sales functions as needed.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on sales.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude toward inventory management and product promotion.
