Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will lead Myant’s finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and robust internal controls. Reporting to the VP Finance, this senior position supports strategic decision‑making through budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and inventory oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, inventory accounting and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ASPE and Canadian GAAP.
• Produce and review financial forecasts, budgets and variance analyses, providing actionable recommendations.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting and manage working‑capital reporting.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives, ERP optimization and the development of scalable finance operations.
• Oversee inventory and manufacturing accounting, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent) with several years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Proven track record in managing full‑cycle accounting in a growth‑oriented environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategic insights.
