About the role
The Faculty of Applied Community Studies at Douglas College is seeking a Coordinator for its Youth Justice Diploma Program. This hybrid position begins on September 1, 2026 and supports the academic and operational success of the program.
Key responsibilities
- Share planning, organizing, and managing administrative and operational aspects of the Youth Justice Diploma Program.
- Monitor student progress and assist faculty with student concerns.
- Organize and participate in the student selection and acceptance process, including follow‑up with late applicants.
- Assist with registration, provide academic support, and coordinate program events.
- Maintain program records and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Passion for academia and commitment to student success.
- Experience in program coordination or administration within a post‑secondary setting.
- Knowledge of youth justice or related community studies fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
