Cook's Helper – Seasonal Kitchen Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook's Helper to join our busy kitchen team on a seasonal, full‑time basis. You will work in a vibrant Irish pub and pizzeria environment, supporting chefs and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers and cupboards.
• Remove kitchen garbage and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes following specifications.
• Clean machines, equipment and perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors.

Required profile

• Availability to start on the posted start date.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings, days, weekends and shifts as needed.

Required skills

• Basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
